The Hon. Elizabeth S. (Lib) Ivey, 70, of Attalla, passed away July 31 at her home. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Frank B. Ivey; two children, Dean (Nancy) Ivey, and Heather Ivey Harris; two grandsons, Tripp Ivey and Eli Harris; one great-grandson, Tristan Harris; two sisters, Rebecca S. Sweat, and Margaret (Josh) Beach, a nephew, Allen (Hakari) Sweat; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
She was a 1964 graduate of Etowah High School, a certified court clerk, and long-time employee of the Town of Steele, and was a lifelong member of Steele United Methodist Church, dedicating many years to missionary and outreach work.
