Eric Lee Morgan

Funeral Services for Mr. Eric Lee Morgan, age 52 of Gadsden, will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Morgan Funeral Home with Bro. Lauil Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.

Eric fought a courageous battle with ALS for the last four years. During his illness he never lost his intelligent sense of humor and wit. He was a graduate of Southside High School and Auburn University. He worked in the real estate auction industry for many years. His occupation allowed him to travel extensively and visit forty-nine states. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time with his Dad and hunting club members hunting deer, turkey and ducks. Eric was proud to be an Auburn Tiger. War Eagle!

He is survived by his mother, Donna Morgan, his brother, Chris (Kitty) Morgan, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, William A. “Bill” Morgan, Jr., grandparents, Audley and Hilda Golden, W. Arnold and Ruth Morgan.

Pallbearers will be Dallas Mayo, Keith Mayo, Jonathan Kilpatrick, Lane McNew, Micheal Nuss and Mike Haygood.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Northside Healthcare Team, ALS Association of Alabama and Riverview Medical Center ER and ICU Teams.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
