Fred was a lifetime resident of Etowah County. He was a mechanic and he loved to buy and restore antique cars. He also enjoyed gardening and had a love for all animals. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Lamar and Glenice Wooten; and his aunt Peggy McMullins.
He is survived by his siblings, Evelyn King, Winford (Pat) Wooten, Gail (James) Jent, Edward Ray (Margie) Wooten, Michael Wooten, Terry Wooten, Wilburn Wooten, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
