R.L. is survived by his loving wife and best friend Becky Humphrey; brothers and sisters Shirley Talton (Elmus); Brenda Townsel (Bobby) and Robbie Graves (Michael); children Wendy and Greg Humphrey, Steve Page and Kristi Billingsley (Robbie); grandchildren Dustin Long (Karla), Lacey Trammell (Kim), Lee Humphrey, Tiffany Humphrey, Colton Long, Jordan Long, Brittany Page, Paden James, Jaylon Billingsley, Dace Humphrey, Chelsea Hayes (Zach); great grandchildren Emma, Judah, Jayden, Junior, NayNay, Jaxton, Lucas, Christopher, Damian, Emily, Lawson, Jordan, Baby girl Hayes; a host of Nieces and nephews with special recognition to David Dion, John, Penny, David Lee, and Teresa

R.L. was born and raised in Etowah County. He graduated from Etowah High School and majored in Computer Science at Gadsden State Community College.
His greatest love was his family. He passed on the passion of hunting and his fervent love for Alabama football to his children and grandchildren.
R.L. was the rock of our family. He was loved, respected, and admired by so many.
In lieu of flowers and out of respect for R.L.’s love for his dogs Nicky, Ms. Terri and Crimson, we request that donations be made to Gadsden Animal Shelter.
