Imogene Richey

Imogene Richey 92 of Gadsden passed away March 6, 2021. Funeral service will be at 2p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bart Watts officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1p.m. until 2p.m.

Burial at Whites Chapel Cemetery in Gadsden.

Imogene went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 6, 2021. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was married to Alfred for 60 years until his death. She was devoted to her Lord Jesus Christ and served Him faithfully from the day of her salvation until her death. Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Richey; son, Wallace Richey; parents, William and Lillie Farmer; and great grandson, Nathan Payton.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Duncan and Carla (Stacey) Windom; grandchildren, Clint (Stephanie) Vernon, Jeff (Melissa) Vernon, Justin (Amy) Duncan, Kasey Windom, Lauren (Luke) Palacios, Adam Windom; great grandchildren; Shelby Vernon, Mackenzie Vernon, Camren Vernon, Emma (Mark) Peltonen, Saedlana Vernon, Jakob Vernon, Young Vernon, Scotlyn Vernon, Landon Duncan, Liam Palacios and Lincoln Palacios.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.

Special thanks to The Edgewood Baptist Church family for their loving help for the past 7 years when mom’s health turned and Jeanne Richey for her unselfish help and care for our mother.
