James Budd Stokes

Budd is preceded in death by his father Elijah Stokes, mother Leigh Stokes, wife Mary Jane Stokes, son Brain Keith Stokes, and grandson Dalton Lee Blakley.

He is survived by daughter Phyllis Phillips (Chad Phillips), son James D. Stokes, Grandson Brain Keith Stokes 2nd, Granddaughters Allysha Stokes, Sara Stokes, and Mollie Blakley, Great grand children Allison Stokes, Amyiah Stokes, A. K. Stokes, Kohen Blakley, and Hudson Blakley.

Being the baby of a large family, Budd was a man who enjoyed his privacy; however, he was a loving husband and father who worked hard to provide for his family. He was a devoted husband who never stopped loving his wife of 49. He was a protector, mentor, and role model for his children. He enjoyed mechanics and fishing and construction and would go out of his way to help his family. There wasn't much he wouldn't do for anyone in the family. Although we know he is finally reunited with his love, Mary Jane, Budd, will be missed.
