Jeffrey Dale Nabors

Jeffrey was born on October 31, 1961, in Etowah County. He grew up in Attalla and was a 1979 graduate of Etowah High School. He was a graduate on the University of Alabama with a degree in accounting, and later earned his law degree from University of Alabama School of Law. He started his own law practice in Tuscaloosa and later went on to work in the legal department of banks of Birmingham.

His most recent place of employment was with Regions Corporation in Birmingham where he worked in compliance and fraud investigation. From his early college days, he fell in love with all things Alabama. Through tutoring athletes for coach Bear Bryant, he began following all sports there. He became the most-avid fan of the Crimson Tide and had a 30-year record of perfect attendance at their football games until health issues interrupted that running streak. He learned early on that he shared birthdays with current coach Nick Saban, and his following of the tide never slowed down until medical issues forced him to move back to Etowah County.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Dale Nabors and his niece , Brickelle Harper.

He is survived by his mother, Janice Nabors; sisters Donna (Jeff) Noah, Jana (Robin) Roberts, and Dena (Cliff) Parker; nieces and nephews, Blake (Shae) Noah, Carly Noah, Camden Harper, Chandler (JP) McDonald, Jackson, Julie and Jordan Roberts, Chance (Megan) Roberts; and uncle Jim Kilgore.

Officiating the service will be Lauil Thompson, Southside Baptist Church Homebound Pastor, and Jeff's longtime friend Clint Daughtrey.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Noah, Robin Roberts, Cliff Parker, Jim Kilgore, Blake Noah, Clint Daughtrey, Camden Harper, and Jackson Roberts

Funeral services will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla. Visitation will be Friday, January 14, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Service will begin at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be the following day at Rainbow Memorial Gardens Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 10 a.m.
