

Funeral Service will be held 11A.M. Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Bro. Danny Chappell, Bro. Brian Staub, Bro. Greg Cole, and Rev. Jimmy Bailey officiating. Burial will be Rainbow Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Washburn was born and raised in Gallant, AL. He attended Etowah High School. He was a member of the Electrical Union and retired as a Master Electrician. Mr. Washburn loved his family, singing, playing music, and working on the family farm. He never met a stranger. From a young age he sang and played bass guitar with his family in local churches. He later joined the Southmen Quartet as bass singer and bass guitar player. He was currently a member of Perkins Family Revival Quartet.
He was preceded in death by his father, James M. Washburn; mother, Estella I. Washburn; sisters, Ellen Ellen and Nina Troncalli.
Mr. Washburn is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Jackie Washburn; daughters, Johnna (Dewey) Washburn, Keri (Brian) Staub, Lesley (Greg) Cole; sister, Sue (Farris) Hall; 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and honorary sister, Norma Jennings.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Washburn, James Cole, Chris Washburn, Ethan Cole, Stephen Coggins, and Mathew Coggins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Jennings, Donald Jennings, Leon Jennings, Derrick Tawbush, Bill Estes, Marshall Hood, Mike Cunningham, Jan Hathcock, and Eddie (Bucky) Cole.

Visitation will be Wednesday June 6, 2018 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
