Marion Farley

Funeral Services for Mr. Marion Farley, age 78 of Attalla, will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Bro. Sammy O’Dell officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Farley passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at his home. A lifelong resident of Attalla, he enjoyed watching Alabama football and shopping at Walmart. Mr. Farley proudly served in the United States Army and National Guard for over 30 years before being honorably discharged. He was a long time member of Siberton Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sons, Alan Farley (Brandi) and Mike Farley, grandchildren, Dr. MacKenzie Farley Dean (Zack) and JonThomas Farley; sisters, Gail Farley Smith (James J.) and Mary Lee Farley Smith, sisters in law, Jerri Troutman, Carolyn Mills, Patricia Garmon, and Betty Harris; brother in law, Joey Nichols; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Linda Nichols Farley; parents, E.L. and Lorene Jackson Farley; brothers, Ivan Farley and Edwin Farley; brothers in law, Edwin E. Smith Jr., Don Garmon, Kenneth Harris, Eugene McGinnis, and Kenneth Griffith; and sisters in law, Barbara McGinnis and Carol Griffith.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Mike Smith, Matthew Farley, Christian Farley and Mark Evans.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
