Martha Ann Churchill

Funeral Services for Mrs. Martha Ann Churchill, age 82 of Attalla, will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel with family officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.

Mrs. Martha Churchill was born on April 20, 1941 in Steele, Alabama. Jesus Christ was her Lord and Savior. As a woman of faith, she always put God first. She graduated from Ashville High school in 1959. Mrs. Martha was a loving wife of 60 years, mother of six children, loving sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She played the piano for many years as well as teaching piano. She had a servant’s heart while serving in many areas of the church.

She is survived by her son, Ricky D. Churchill (Allison), her daughters, Vicky Churchill Tanner, Pamela Churchill Farmer (Mickey), and Sandra Churchill, her granddaughter, April Suzanne Churchill, 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Crumpton Wood and Faye Churchill Stracener.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl David Churchill, her daughters, Suzanne Hampton and Teresa Lynn Churchill, her parents, John Albert and Alice America Conley Wood, her sister, Dorothy Sue Latham and her brothers, Roy Lee Wood and James Albert Wood.

Active Pallbearers will be: Brandon Farmer, Eric Churchill, Joshua Churchill, Alex Farmer, Shaun Churchill and Emery Fleming.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Mickey Farmer, Ricky Hampton and DeWayne Minton.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to (Nikki) Alana Luscinski, Gentiva Hospice with special thanks to Regina and Jada.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 12:30 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
