Mary Frances Brothers

Funeral Service will be at 3p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Ivalee Baptist Church with Bro. Jeremy Jones and Bro. Van Lockridge officiating. Morgan Funeral Chapel directing.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 1p.m. until 3p.m.

Burial at Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery in Gallant.

Frances came to know her personal savior, Jesus Christ at a young age and spent the rest of her days serving and loving him faithfully. She served in multiple roles in the church including playing the piano, Sunday School and youth teacher. She loved being in the church and was a member of Ivalee Baptist. She married the love of her life, Clois Brothers in 1947 and together they built a family that she loved with all of her heart. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She embodied southern hospitality being a hostess and making everyone feel welcome that came through her door. She enjoyed floral design and drapery making.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Clois Brothers, parents, Ottis and Lora Hethcox and brother Roy Hethcox.

Survivors are daughter, Judy (John) Cunningham and son, Todd (Felisa) Brothers. Grandsons, Shaun Cunningham, Landon Cunningham and granddaughter, Carmen Brothers. Six great grand children and sister Marjorie Archer.

Pallbearers will be Todd Brothers, Shaun Cunningham, Landon Cunningham, Waylon Blakeley, Lane Archer, Jim Hethcox, and Earl Jones.
