Mike and Delia always would have  candy and a little toy for my grandkids . He always had a kind word and smile for you . He was telling my grandson " I have a dog name Oreo too !"  He will definitely be missed . 

I love to see you stand with your hands crossed in front of you. I love watching you grow in Christ and hearing you sing. I Love You! Go rest high on that mountain and sing I saw the Light for our Lord. Until we meet again.  ❤️❤️ Your Daughter Roeshell

Papa - I will never forget your love of movies and music, your servant heart, and your laugh! Some memories that I will cherish forever are: your trip to Duluth and our dinner at the Duluth Diner, “pretty baby Nancy”, “I love you, man”, “the claw”, watching Dark Shadows with you and Mammie, “Trader!”, and so many other things. I love you now and forever! 💜

To Mike " THE DO IT ALL MAN " I remember the day when you came by to meet Mama for the first time. I was so excited for Mama. You fit right in with the family. I am so blessed God put you in our life. We love hearing you sing and we were blown away with you're memory you could remember dates of events.  You could remember actors names and movie titles. I could call you in the middle of the night and you would be there. Mike I NEVER heard you say a bad thing about anyone. You Never called anyone a bad name. You just wanted to help people and make them happy. Mike you are the BEST step Dad a girl could ask for. I LOVE YOU MAN.  


I met Mike in third grade.. He had a unique sense of humor.
 He always made me laugh.
Mike never turned down an adventure.. 
In our teenage years, we loved to ride bikes everywhere in Atlanta. During the summer months in middle school, we would always make a trip from downtown Atlanta to Stone Mountain. Those were some great memories. 
Mike would do anything for his family and friends.. 
We loved to get together with friends and play football. 
During one of the football games, I injured myself and had to have emergency surgery. After waking up from surgery the next day, one of the first things the doctor said was.. You have a great friend who's concerned about you.. He's been in the waiting room all night... It was Mike.  I will certainly miss my dear friend.. 
To Mike's family.. I'm so sorry for your loss. Rest assured he's in Heaven with the Lord and we will see him again.

Mike, I want to start with I am so glad you know Jesus. Jesus loves us more than we can even imagine and now you are with Jesus!  I love the way you were bold and eager to sing for the LORD. You was a natural at being good hearted, never complaining and just going with the flow. Thank you for helping wherever needed. I could ask you to help me at the church or babysitting Daisy and your response was always; Yes! Charles recants all the times you got him out of a bind and will miss having a dependable person to call on. Thank you, for taking care of my mom! Your kindness and generosity has taught me a lot and there’s still a lot I can learn from you. We love you and we’re going to miss you. 
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John 1:7

I met Mike in second  grade and went through elementary  and high school  together.  He was one of my closest  friends. We remained friends all through  life. He was a great guy and a character.  He was funny and always  had a positive  attitude even when he was going  through  tough times.
We hung out together alot and he had a funny perspective on things. We would be riding  around  through  a nice well to do neighborhood and Mike would  look at those old fine homes and say " I bet they are eating  bologna ". Then when we got to the poor side, I would say " I bet they are eating steak".
He would laugh harder than me when he said they were eating bologna on the rich side.
Another time Mike came over to the house and I noticed part of his back bumper on his car was pulled back, he had been in a minor  accident. A few days later he came by the house  and it was fixed. I knew Mike was watching his money so I asked him how he .fixed it. He said " an oak tree going 25 mph.
He was a great guy and  I will miss knowing I can't  see or call him on the phone but thanks to what Jesus did on The Cross 2000 plus years ago, I know I will see my good friend again. Miss you Mike but I will see you again.

Papa, I am sure You are now in heaven , please pray for me and thanks You very much for being so kind and gentle with me.

Praying for comfort for the family. Mike was always nice and came up to us to talk whenever we saw him. He was always smiling and in a good mood. I know he'll be truly missed.

Mike was always smiling when he greeted us. In the short time we have him he became a true friend. Praying for all of his family. He’s rejoicing. 

He always spoke and never had a sad face always a smile.


Mike had a good heart. He loved the old school wrestling. We used to call him Iron Mike Sharp after the old school wrestler. He was one of the best human beings I've ever met. RIP my good friend.

Except for our love for different ball teams i feel we had a lot in common in our lives and you will truly be missed my friend, till we meet again. Johnny 

Mike was a great man and a friend. He wasn’t our family by blood but to me and Samantha he was our family. We loved him. We got closer to Mike we would walk, eat hang out and we also sang at church. He loved to sing. He was a caring loving and always willing to help with anything he could. He showed us love and he would tell me God loves you and he will take care of me. He loved Samantha and Nathaniel as his own grandkids. We will miss you the texts and calls and visits til we meet again. Love Mandy Sam and Nathaniel.
