Norma Faye Beasley

Services for Norma will be at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Sunday, December 7, 2025. Visitation will be held in the Chapel from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 11am with Rev. David Goodman officiating. Burial will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Norma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, and she worked for the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier and postmaster. Norma took great joy in working in her yard and was well-known for her wonderful cooking. Above all, she loved and cherished her family and friends

She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Smith; mother, Leola Smith Engle; sister, Patricia Goodman, and infant brother; Donald Smith.

Norma is survived by her husband, Gerald Beasley; daughters; Tammie Fontaine (Roger), Tracie Braswell (Alan); grandchildren, Tara Fontaine, Cody (Jamie) Fontaine, and Megan (Andrew) Mauldin; great grandchild, McKenna Fontaine; siblings, Bonnie Link, and Dencil “Buddy" Smith (Diane); a hosts of nieces and nephews; and her faithful 4-legged companion, Susie.

Pallbearers are Roger Fontaine, Alan Braswell, Cody Fontaine, Andrew Mauldin, Chris Benefield, and Tony Benefield.

Honorary pallbearers are David King, Gerald Nelson, Jim Holland, and William Alexander

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Norma's Hospice Nurse, Sarah Burke; CNA, Emily Jenkins; and Caregiver, Eva Rogers.
