Patricia Carol (Wilder) Bishop

We say goodbye to a wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, sister, aunt and friend to so many. Patricia Carol Bishop aka Pat celebrated her 80th birthday September 3rd, 2022, and on June 24, 2023, at 12:01 am, God called her home. We have hearts that are both sad and grateful at the same time. She was beautifully cared for all the way until the end by the staff at Riverview Regional Medical Center and her enhabit hospice team.

Patricia’s family includes her lifelong love, Wilford. They would have been married 64 years September 17, 2023. Patricia and Wilford cherished their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to include Wil Bishop, Amy Farmer (Bishop), Shawn Bishop, Kirsten & Nathan Stevens and Noah Stevens. Kaleigh Bishop, Kevin Bishop, Roy Bishop, Kelley Nelson (Bishop), Patrick John (PJ) Bishop, Hannah & Brandon Cole and Ezra Cole, Bethany Bishop. Patricia is survived by her sisters Christine, Rebecca (Becky), Linda, Janet, Deborah, Annette, Pam and Shirley and her brother Roy (Butch), brothers-in-laws, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother Catherine, brother Gerald, sister Margaret, sister-in-law Joan and brother-in-law Corky.

She worked many years as a sewing machine operator with Healthtex and Lee. However, her most cherished job was that of Grandma and Aunt. She dearly loved all her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be at 2pm Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Morgan Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12 until 2pm. Burial at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.
