Rex Allen Meeks Sr.

Funeral Service will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel Sunday January 21, 2018 at 11 a.m.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 9 until 11 a.m.

Only two things took precedence in life and that was his Lord and his family. He married the love of his life when he was twenty years old. Their love gave them three children and five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his uncle, Floyd Jordan of Attalla; grandmother, Nola Mae Jordan of Tennessee and granddaughter Shelby Lynn Meeks of Attalla,

He is survived by his wife of forty one years, Debbie Meeks of Attalla; parents, Eva and Buel Thurman of Tennessee; brother, Steve Thurman of Tennessee; Daughter, Hope Meeks of Attalla; Daughter, April Phillips (Taylor) of Attalla; son, Rex Allen Meeks, Jr. of Attalla; Grandchildren, Patrick Meeks-Baker of Albertville, Rev. Gavin Meeks of Attalla, Josh and Katie Harris of Attalla and Best Friend/Brrother, Dennis Tate of Attalla.

Many special thanks to Amedisys Hospice for taking care of our Daddy. A very special thanks to his nurse, Tyler, our daddy loved him so much. He is hurting no more.
