My husband & I just heard today of Ricky’s passing. We are so sorry for your loss. Ricky was our go to for roofing & construction connections. He also was an amazing friend.  Sincere Condolences, Jeff & Brenda Guffey 

Ricky was a hard worker enjoyed working and loved his family.
If you were his friend he give you the shirt off his back do anything a good for you.
I'm proud to say I love him like a brother.

When we were all young, Ricky took us fishing on a creek bank I have no idea where it was now. So there was Ricky, Veronica, myself, our Dad James, and might have been Guy. It was dark, after awhile everyone had caught something, a fish, a turtle, something except for Dad. It was starting to get late, Dad had laid back and fallen asleep.  We were fishing on bottom with no bobber,  I caught a turtle.  Ricky said “I feel sort of bad, James is the only one that hasn’t caught anything “. I got a plan, let’s do this. Ricky unhooked the turtle from my pole, went down to the water, pulled up Dad’s line, hooked the turtle on Dad’s line , come back up and sat down, he said James wake up, wake up, you’ve got something. Dad jumped up and reeled him in, we all smiled at each other and enjoyed the time together. Ricky was selfless over and over and made sure everyone had a part. 

Ricky is my brother in-law. He has always been a rock for our family, he has always been stronger than most, someone with integrity, he called it the way he saw it, a real straight shooter I wished there was more of. He loves the simple life, sitting in the swing with Veronica, the boys and girl he just wants everyone to be happy. He would tell me how much he loves Sis, saying he didn’t know where he would have been without her. He told me of how he knew the boys were capable of doing anything they wanted to achieve and how Gracie was really gonna be successful, they are all so smart, he is so proud of his family. Ricky could out give anyone and it’s just what you should do , that’s the way he lived, a humble man.
I believed that he was coming out of the hospital but now I cling to Is 55:8 for His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher as heaven is from the earth. God has a plan. God still answered our prayers, but He just didn’t do it my way. We trust you God and in the big picture, Ricky got the ultimate victory in salvation and that’s all that matters.  We praise you God and Thank You for sharing Ricky with us. We look forward to seeing you in glory.. I love you my favorite brother in-law.. 

My name is Cathie Holloway Clark.  My mother was Amy Alexander Holloway, Aunt Ann's sister.   Ricky was my 1st cousin.  Actually, he was my favorite cousin.  He and I used to say that we hated that we only saw each other at funerals.     He was such a good man and every time I ran into him, he would always ask about my family and tell me about his.   You could tell that his family was the light of his life.   He was much too young to go this soon.      Please know that I'm keeping you all in my prayers.    

Hi I’m Ricky’s 1st cousin Pam Alexander Brown. My dad was Jack Alexander, mom Adell.  We lived in Jackson, Florida when he was born and mom helped take care of him for awhile. At one time I counted 54 of us 1st cousins and wish we could have seen each other more than funerals over the years. We are so sorry for y’all’s loss-he was too young!  We had doctors appointments that could not be moved or we would have been there!  Praying for you all!

What a beautiful tribute to such a special member of our family. Ricky was a giant among men. Ricky always added that extra spark to our family gatherings with his humor & loving ways. We all loved Ricky and trusted him to have our backs. He was a pillar of strength & consistency.  Ricky was among "The Chosen!"  Jesus ask him to step up, step out and Ricky said yes and he is now resting in heaven forever more. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

So sorry . My heart breaks hearing this .He will be missed so much . He is a perfect example of a REAL MAN . so kind , humble and  Genuine.   God's love unto this family . 👪   🙏 

From the first time I remember meeting Ricky, I loved him. He was a big teddy bear. Witty. Very smart. A very HARD worker. And he desperately loved Veronica, Branden, Justen, and Gracie his granddaughter. He LOVED his family. Him and Veronica were best friends. And he made sure they always were taken care of. He worked so much I didn’t see him a lot, and when I did, he was consistently kind and inquisitive about my life, and my children lives. He was selfless. 
Ricky’s life, like a lot of ours growing up, it was challenging to say the least. But he made the best out of it. Helped others, with no expectation for anything in return. Absolutely none. He loved you. He accepted you. He was SAVED and had Jesus in his heart when he left us. And it was more than an honor to call him cousin.

Ricky was always a great guy every roof we had done we always called Ricky prayers 🙏🙏for his wife and family   Kay Pugh 

Ricky was absolutely the roofer of choice for many people in the real estate community. His honesty and pride in his work plus his sense of humor and warm personality will be missed. He always showed respect for his crew and appreciated the part they played in his business. Yes Ricky Hyfield will be missed..
