

A church visitation and service will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Welcome Bethel Church, in Guntersville, AL. The family will receive visitors from 12:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00pm. Rev. Roger Igou, and Rev. Patty Robinson will officiate. Burial will be on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00pm located on Hwy 11 near the Etowah/St. Clair County line.
Mr. Brown was a carpenter by trade. He enjoyed attending church, listening to good preaching, and studying his bible. Mr. Brown loved gospel and bluegrass music, playing the "fiddle", the guitar, and the mandolin. He was known by many for his "big" handshakes!
He was preceded in death by his wife, Willodean Sims Brown; his son, Michael Brown; and his son-in-law, Rev. James Charles Robinson.
Mr. Brown is survived by his children, Patty Brown Robinson, Joel Kent (Kim) Brown, and Sharon Brown (Rickey) Buchanan; daughter-in-law, Beverly (Joey) Spears; grandchildren, Brandon (Tanika) Brown, Taylor (Amber) Brown, Kasey (Keaton) Naugher, Holley Brown, Aaron (Lara) Buchanan and Drew Buchanan; and great-grandchildren, Braylon and Foreman Brown, Ayla Kate and Harper Brown, and Tate and Willa Naugher; brother, John Brown; and nieces, Laura Brown Bowers, Reina Brown Summerville, and Belinda Brown Champion.
Pallbearers are Brandon Brown, Taylor Brown, Aaron Buchanan, Drew Buchanan, Keaton Naugher, and Braylon Brown.
Honorary Pallbearers are Foreman Brown, Ayla Brown, Harper Brown, Tate Naugher, and Willa Naugher.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Mr. Brown's home church, "Welcome Bethel Church, Guntersville, AL., and Exie Congregational Holiness Church, Piedmont, AL.
