Roger was born and raised in Attalla. He was preceded in death by his parents Russell and Lorene Chumley; and his sister, Kathy Dempsey. He retired from the Anniston Army Depot where he worked in small arms.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Chumley; son, Dewayne (Tammy) Chumley; daughters, Nikki (Larry) Overton and Jamie (Willie) Greene; grandchildren, Eric Overton, Dustin Chumley, Aaron Chumley, Seth Green; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private memorial service. Morgan Funeral Chapel handling arrangements.
