Ronald Lynn Gore

He was born in Gadsden, Alabama to Cecil and Naomi Gore; and at the age of 5, Ronald lost his mom due to cancer.

A Celebration of Life for Ronald will be held at Homestead Independent Church, 1026 Valley Drive, Attalla, AL. 35954 (across from the Reese City Town Hall on Hwy. 11) on July 6, 2025, at 2:00pm.

Ronald loved gospel singings and was an avid Alabama football fan. He lived most of his life in Daytona, Florida, which he called home before moving back to Alabama, due to health issues. Ronald loved being at the beach and the breeze off the ocean.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Naomi Gore; father, Cecil Gore; chosen mother, Arlene Gore; brothers, Charles Gore and Gene Duncan; and sister, Alice Jones.

Ronald is survived by his sisters, Linda (Harold) Davis, and Candy (Scott) Dean; Brother, Kenny Gore; sister-in-law, Deb Gore; brother-in-law, Dennis Jones; along with several special nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Enhabit Hospice, Bridgette Yancy, RN; Brandon Thrasher, RN; Brittany Mathis, PRN; Suzanne Smith, PRN; Tammy Cox, HCA; Kristy Womack, Caseworker; and Jennifer Morgan, RN; for all the love and wonderful care shown to Ronald and me during his illness.

Ronald’s final wishes were to be cremated, and have his ashes scattered later.
