Sharon Lee Morrow

Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Sharon Lee Morrow, 70, Steele, who died on Tuesday. July 24. 2018. Herb Dowdy and Christopher Dowdy will officiate. Burial will be in Steele Cemetery (no graveside service).

Sharon grew up and spent most of her life In Steele, graduating from Etowah High School In 1965. She attended UAB School of Nursing where she became a Registered Nurse. Sharon enjoyed reading and collecting books and was an avid animal lover (especially for her dog, Jet.)

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents. Clyde and Dorothy (Prickett) Morrow; brother, Gerald Morrow; and sister-in-law. Barbara (Tucker) Morrow. Being the caregiver that she was, Sharon was generously committed to providing care to these family members during their lives.

She is survived by niece, Jennifer Scanlan, Florissant, MO: nephew, Jerry Morrow, Chicago, IL; great nephews, Jarrod Cobb, St. Louis, MO; Tyler Cobb, Houston, TX; great-great nephew, Oliver Cobb, St. Louis, MO; as well as several cousins.

A heartfelt and special thanks goes to Bobby Jack and Barbara Morrow of Steele for their love, care, and support.

Visitation will be from 2 until 3 p.m. prior to the service at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
