Sue Archie Williams

Funeral service will be at 11 AM Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Sue Archie Williams “MaMa Sue”, age 87, of Gadsden, who passed away on Friday June 24, 2016. Rev. Roger White will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. If Angels are here on earth, Mama Sue was truly one of them.

She is preceded in death by her husband G.W. Williams, daughter Cathy Tidwell, son Barry Craig Williams, grandson Jeffery Cole, and great grandson “Lil B” Williams.

She is survived by her children LaNell Cole, Donny (Ruth) Williams, Ronald (Cobie) Williams andLarry (Michelle) Williams; son in law Randy Tidwell; grandchildren Jennifer Cole, Barry Keith “Bubba” Williams, Brandi LeShay (Roy) White, Logan Williams, Brody Williams, Jacob Williams, Le Tow, Tina Cubic, Justin (Holly) Williams, Bradley (Sandra) Williams, Eric (Kristi) Williams, Kyle (Chelsey) Williams, Lisa Kilgo, and Greg Tidwell; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great, great, grandchildren; and special friends Rosco Garner and Charlie Anderson.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10 until the hour of service.
