Syble C. Smith 80 of Gadsden passed away July 10, 2022. She raised the majority of the Mill Village. She had many children by blood and even more that were not. The Mill Village says “Good-Bye” and you will be missed.
Syble was just a simple old fashioned housewife. She loved to cook for anyone and always offered to feed you. Her passion in life was her yard and her plants. On a good day you could catch her sweeping the leaves from her yard. Syble was a straight shooter and always told it like it was and everyone loved her for it. Her family was her life, no matter what was going on her love for them never failed.
Syble was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Fannie Lee Campbell; daughter, Vickie Ramsey; son, William “Ray” Wise; grandson, Lesley Wise and special friend, Jim Studdard.
She is survived by her children; Norma (Bobby) Hunt, Robert Wise, Teresa May, Shane Studdard (Charity), Randall (Hope) Wise; grandchildren, Wesley Wise, Nicki Ramsey, Colton “Hank” (Sandra) Ramsey, Rocky Ramsey, Breash May, Tahgan (Elizabeth) May, Candace Smith, Cameron Studdard, Anthony (Dasia) Neander, Kevin Neander, Mollie Moore, and Colby (Amy) Wise; great grandchildren, Damien Ramsey, Caylee Ramsey, Caymen Ramsey, Anahi Ramsey, Eva Ramsey, Azrael James May, AJ Neander and Alistair Wise.
Special thanks to all her special friends; Charles Ramsey, Howard Ramsey, Arthur Vaughn, Ricky Rogers, Frankie Patton, Danny Patton, Jamie Bowen, and the entire Mill Village.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
