Sylvia Faye Renfroe

Visitation will be at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Monday, February 3, 2025, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel. Burial will be at Greenwood Community Cemetery. Brother Frank James will officiate with music by Steve Minton. Pallbearers will be Tommy Nance, Jeff Vice, Mitch Vice, Roger Renfroe, Danny Lankford, and Roger Kimbril. Honorary pallbearers, members of Keener Baptist Church.

Sylvia was born on March 3, 1945. The first daughter of Sarah and Ott Stephens in a family that eventually included 4 boys and 4 girls. She married the love of her life, Curtis Renfroe on January 14, 1972. Their family was complete with the addition of two daughters. Later adding two sons-in-law, 3 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Sylvia loved her family fiercely and unconditionally. She was the most patient and loving person anyone would ever meet. She was always there for her family and friends. Sylvia loved spending time with her family, music, singing, sewing, games of all kinds, puzzles, traveling and camping in the RV, and watching television game shows. She enjoyed singing in the choir and was a member of Keener Baptist Church

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah and James (Ott) Stephens; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lorene and JD Renfroe; daughter, Lisa Vice; brother, Greg Stephens.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis Renfroe; daughter, Brandi (Tommy) Nance; son-in-law, Jeff Vice, grandchildren, Mitch (LeAnne) Vice, Jillian and Alyssa Nance; great-grandchildren, Sophie and Will Vice; brothers, Dale Stephens, Mickey Stephens, Shawn Stephens; sisters, Linda McElroy, Saratha Davis, Dawn (Gene) Moody as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
