Tammy Gay Dillard

Tammy was a loving wife of 40 years to Timmy Dillard, mother, nana, sister, and friend. She loved her family dearly, enjoyed the outdoors, bingo, and spending time with her pets. Tammy had a generous heart and helped anyone she could. She never met a stranger, was always unapologetically herself, and told it like it was.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elven P. Jones; her mother, Nellie Lucile Jones; her sisters, Gina Louise Lemons and Barbara Jean Humphrey; and her brothers, Thomas Jerry Lemons, Buddy Joel Lemons, Roddie Carlton Lemons, Rickey David Lemons, Mickey J. Lemons, and Tommy M. Lemons.

Tammy is survived by her devoted spouse, Timothy Dale Dillard Sr.; her sisters, Pandora Battles, Diane Moore, and Tina Lutes, Cecila (Cecil) Laney; and her brother, Elven Phillip Jones, Jr. (Daphne). She also leaves behind her children, Fallon Slaughter, Timothy Dillard, and Kennie (Clay) Dillard. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Emma Dillard, Jaxon Dillard, Dawson Dillard, Dax Dillard, Fenix Jones, Ava Slaughter, Colson Dillard, and Lyra Slaughter, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A visitation will be held on March 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with funeral services following at 3:00 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Chapel. David Carpenter will officiate.

The family would like to extend special thanks to David Carpenter and Morgan’s Funeral Chapel for their care and support during this time.

Tammy’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
