Services will be Wednesday, May 14th, 2025 at 1pm at Morgan Funeral
Chapel with Rev. Shane Bearden officiating.
Terry Bearden was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
From an early age, Terry was known for pursuing his hobbies and interests
and no stranger to hard work. Early on, he was a radio DJ and earned his
broadcasting license. From there, Terry cultivated his entrepreneurial
mindset and launched several different businesses, most notably, Bearden
Transport, LLC & Bearden Vending, LLC.
Above all, from a young age, Terry was a faithful servant of the Lord. He
diligently studied the Word and one of his greatest passions and gifts was
being a teacher in both Sunday school and small group settings.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Wade & Annie Lee Bearden;
sister, Wanda Childers; and his wife of almost 49 years, Anita Bearden.
Survivors include brother, Jerry (Elena) Bearden; sister, Connie (Larry)
Farr; son, Shane (Misty) Bearden; grandchildren, Madeline (Gabe) Smith,
Conner Bearden, Ella Bearden; and a host of extended family and friends.
Special thanks to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice, as well as Rachel Harden,
Vickie Hammett & the rest of the team of caregivers. Family will receive
friends at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, May 14th, 2025 from
12pm until the time of service at 1pm.
Pallbearers will be Conner Bearden, Jerry Bearden, Anthony Bellew, Gabe
Smith, Ben Spellman, Kevin Thrasher.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Pastor Matt Akins & Jake Blankenship.
A private graveside service will be held at Rainbow Memorial Gardens
immediately following the service.
Morgan Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
