Willard Ray Long

Funeral Services for Mr. Willard “Buster” Ray Long, age 59 of Ohatchee, will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery (Webster Chapel).

Buster passed away in the comfort of his own home on Sunday, February 12, 2023. He was born February 07, 1964, in Oneonta, Alabama, to Virginia and Tolley Joe Long. Buster grew up in Attalla, Alabama. He resided in Ohatchee, Alabama. Buster worked as a Journeyman A for most of his life. Buster often enjoyed spending time outdoors, gambling, playing guitar, and spending time with family and friends. Buster made a significant impact on any of the individuals he met throughout his lifetime.

Willard “Buster” Ray Long is preceded in death by his parents, Virginia and Tolley Joe Long, siblings, Francis, Jimmy, Bruce, Joe, and Robert “Bo” Long and two children, a son, Daniel Ray Long (1985) and a daughter, Amanda Lynn Long (2007). He is survived by one daughter, Shelly Brown, four grandchildren, Brandon Brown, Tyler (Hope) Brown, Matthew Brown, and Dustin (Mackenzie) Wise, and two great-grandchildren Jaxson Brown and Levi Wise.

Pallbearers for the service will be Brandon Brown, Tyler Brown, Matthew Brown, Dustin Wise, Jeremy Long, Joey Long and Derek Stone.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 12:30 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
