

Willie Mae was a devoted mother and cherished member of her community, faithfully attending the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall. She symbolized her dedication to Jehovah on June 13, 1981. Willie Mae dedicated much of her life to caring for others, helping raise her younger siblings and nurturing them with love and devotion.
Willie Mae shared her talents as a cook at the East Gadsden Cafe and The Warehouse, touching on the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering faith will be remembered and deeply missed by all who loved her.
Willie Mae’s life came to an end on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, Alabama at the age of 81.
Funeral services for Willie Mae will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 237 Goldenrod Avenue, Gadsden, AL 35901, with visitation from 1:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00pm. Bro. Ray Avery and Bro. Larry Thomas to officiate the service.
Pallbearers will be the Brothers of Kingdom Hall. Honorary pallbearers are Darrell Wilson, Bobby Rudolph, Ray Avery, and Larry Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Duncan; mother, Willie Duncan; daughters, Rosetta Wilson and Ethel Mae Wilson; son, Henry Wilson; sisters, Hattie Mae Trailor and Jimmie Ruth Duncan; and brothers, James Duncan, Larry Duncan, Alex Duncan, Oscar Duncan and Eakey Duncan.
Willie Mae is survived by her daughters, Betty Wilson, Pamela Wilson and Mary Wilson; sons, Roosevelt Wilson; daughters, Shanika Thomas, Khadejah, son, Coryale Wilson; Darrell Wilson, Winston Wilson, Edward Wilson Jr. and Dan Wilson; daughters-in-law, Phyllis Vines Wilson and Gail Wilson; grandchildren, Skirose, Trent, Tiffany, Frances, Darrell, Daniel, Demeetus, Danshell, Dantrell, Danchess, DJ, Tyler, Pete, CJ, Daniel, Dominique, Jamie, Christopher, Robin, Jessica, Florisha, Nicole, Leslie, “Lil” Henry, Phillip, Kadesia, Shaneka, and Trey; sisters, Vickie Duncan, Nellie Duncan, Virginia Duncan, Mattie Mae Duncan and Vera Duncan; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
