Helen Marguerite Hopkins

Helen M. Hopkins (91) of Attica, died Saturday, October 19, 2013 at her home. She was born March 6, 1922 in Venice Township, Seneca County to the late Vern and Nellie Jane (Back) Schwab. Mrs. Hopkins work at Midwest Industries for 22 ½ years retiring in 1979. She was an avid hunter and worked hard her whole life and loved the outdoors and wildlife.

Mrs. Hopkins is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Jean and Fred Michaels of Attica and sister: Viola Reed of Temperance, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Kenneth R. Hopkins who preceded her in death in October of 2000 and brothers: Gordon and Vernon Schwab along with 3 infant brothers and sister.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica. Burial will be in the Attica-Venice Township Cemetery, Attica. Friends may call 3-7 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Attica Fire Department or Stein Hospice through the funeral home.
