Jean Y Heibertshausen

Jean Y. Heibertshausen (77) of Attica died Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Ruffing Family Care Center, Bloomville. She was born August 24, 1935 in Willard to the late Henry M. and Doris (Mills) Featheringill. Mrs. Heibertshausen was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Dorcus Circle of the church. She was a member of the former Johnny Appleseed Chapter of the DAR, Attica Lioness and Lions Clubs, and enjoyed Knitting, crocheting, cooking , baking and judging needle projects at the Attica fair.

Mrs. Heibertshausen is survived by 2 sons: Tom (Karen) Heibertshausen and Jim (Ann) Heibertshausen, both of Attica, 3 daughters: Linda (Steve) Detillion of Tiffin, Mary (Randy) Moore of Willard, and Kathy (Steve) Schoen of Bellevue. 13 grandchildren: Heather (Brett) Staib, Jamie (Jill) Detillion, Tim Heibertshausen, Michelle (Jay) Gullett, Jennifer Heibertshausen, Karen (Frank) Harvey, Brian Daniel, Natalie Schoen, Matthew (Elise) Moore, Maranda Moore, Stephanie (Mike) Anderson, and Elizabeth and Taylor Heibertshausen, 12 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren. Sister: Ruth Gangluff of Tiffin. She was preceded by her parents, husband: Gene A. Heibertshausen whom preceded her in death in 1999, and 2 grandchildren: Mark and Luke Moore.

Friends may call Monday, July 29, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Attica with Pastor Edward Hunker officiating. Burial will be in the Attica-Venice Twp Cemetery, Attica. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Stein Hospice or Activity Fund at the Ruffing Family Care Center through the funeral home.
