
Born May 5, 1920 in Philadelphia PA, he grew up in Atlantic City and lived in Ventnor for 62 years. He attended Atlantic City Vocational School and worked as a self employed roofer/contractor. He was a veteran of WWII and served in the 121st Infantry Regiment of the US Army. Edward was awarded the Liberation of France Normandy Medal and the State of New Jersey Distinguished Service Medal.
Survivors include Son Robert and Daughter-in-Law Michelle Rossetti of Loomis CA, Son John Rossetti of Buckingshire England and Daughter-in-Law Janet Rossetti of Linwood NJ; grandchildren: Richard, Ronnie, Ryan, and Alisa; and great-grandchildren: Gianna and Ricky. Edward was preceded in death by his wife Theresa (Ginnetti), Son Edward Casaceli, and Son Richard Rossetti.
A viewing was held in Auburn, CA on Monday, March 11, 2013 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Hills. A viewing will be held beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 16th at Holy Trinity Parish: Blessed Sacrament Church, 11 N Kenyon Avenue, Margate, NJ with the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment immediately following at Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor. California arrangements entrusted to Chapel of the Hills and New Jersey arrangements to George H. Wimberg Funeral Home.
