Janet passed away with her family at her side at age 79. Janet resided in Auburn (Christian Valley) with her husband Arlan Deutsch.
Janet was born in Citrus Park, Az., on a ranch along with her brother, Don Isbell. From Arizona, her family moved to Los Angeles and later resided in Anaheim, Ca.. Janet was active and studious, and with the support of her family earned her college degree.
Janet married Everette Livingston in 1953 and had two precious boys, Joseph and Darrell. Desiring to live in the country, the family moved to Auburn, CA., where Janet was an advocate for higher education. She worked as an education specialist, kindergarten teacher and taught teacher required courses at Sierra College. Janet lived a very full life, loving her teaching career, her family, and numerous social circles.
Janet found love and marriage in Arlan Deutsch in 1983. She did endure some severe and challenging health issues along the way but in no way let that define her. She preserved her energy for living, loving, traveling the world, the beauty of arts, gardening, dancing, reading, games, and mostly…family and friends. Pinochle was her game of choice as she loved to play and socialize with her friends. She was a world traveler with her husband Arlan, having traveled to 26 countries and 41 states, going many miles in their RV. Her church and the people at Faith Lutheran, in Meadow Vista, were an inspiration to her. She enjoyed activities and friends at her sorority Preceptor Mu Phi.
Janet and Everett Livingston were the parents of Joe Livingston(Jan) and Darrell Livingston(Yayen). Arlan Deutsch is the parent of Bruce Deutsch(Cindy), Judy Frakes(Doug) and Marsha Deutsch Reeves(Cammy). Janet had nine grand children. Janell Hamman, Evan Hamman, Tiffany Livingston, Melissa Livingston, Leann Livingston, Chris Deutsch, Ben Deutsch, Kody Reeves and Josh Livingston who along with his wife Angie gave Janet four great grandchildren Brandon, Jacob, Katelyn and Justin.
Janet is also survived by her brother Don (Louella) Isbell and beloved nieces and nephews.
