Jessica Karen Nelson

January 5, 1993- November 15, 2016

Jessica was born on January 5, 1993 in Auburn, CA and tragically passed away on November 15, 2016 in Oakhurst, CA. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Edwina and Steve Reed, her father Stacey Nelson, her grandparents Charles and Donna Cartright, her brothers Leo Martin, Jason Brown, and Nathan and Seth Reed. She is also survived by her sisters Rebecca Nelson and Samantha Reed. She went to Foresthill and Ophir Elementary and went on to Placer High, then to Chana High. Jessica loved working at Kirkwood Ski Resort and loved helping anyone in need. She loved her dogs “Jack” and “Little Girl”, and her cat “Jimmie”. She would always bring home stray animals and she loved to draw. She liked to hang out with her friends and taking her Mommie for rides in the Foresthill area. Jessica had a caring heart, when she smiled she brightened up everyone’s world with her pretty smile. Jessica will be missed!

Her viewing will be held at Chapel of the Hills at 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA 95603 on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. with interment to follow at New Auburn Cemetery.
