Joanne Marcia Steele

Joanne loved and was dedicated to the Lord all throughout her life and is now with Him in Heaven.

She had a very Loving, Caring, and Compassionate spirit toward others and had lots of friends and loved ones around her when she passed. There was a genuine love within her that shown brightly wherever she went and shared this love freely with everyone she came in contact with. Joanne’s life was a “Life Well Loved”.

Joanne was born in Elyria, Ohio on March 29, 1932. She attended Elyria High School where she met and married Andy Arvay (Teacher/Coach). They were married 27 years and had Four (4) children.

Joanne was a dedicated mother and wife. The family moved from Ohio to California in June of 1969. She worked in the banking industry, SRI International, and in 1995 joined her son Mark in starting a Custom Packaging business in Sunnyvale CA where she was the Office Manager for 14-years.

In 2011 Joanne moved to Carson City Nevada to be near her daughter, where she lived for 9-years before moving to Auburn CA in 2020 near her sons Mark and Matthew.

She is survived by her Four (4) Children Mark, Matthew, Marcia, and Drew. Mark and Matthew reside here in Northern California, Marcia and Drew reside in Texas.
