Kathleen Alona Cook-Bowen

Kathleen is survived by her husband William A. Bowen; her daughter Jeanine Mashburn; her son Brian Cook; her sisters Elizabeth and Stephanie; her grandchildren Ty, Jacob, Eva, Joelle, McKenzie, Angel; her step-children Ken, Karin, and Kathie; and numerous Cook and Snyder families nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her late husband Byron Cook; her father Vincent Snyder; her mother Isabella Snyder; and her sisters Anne and Susan.

A memorial service and reception for Kathleen will be held Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Loomis, 6414 Brace Rd, Loomis, CA 95650. (Tel. 916 652-0469 Email. [email protected])

Kathleen’s ashes will be laid to rest in Newcastle Cemetery, 850 Taylor Rd. Newcastle, CA 95658.

Contributions in Kathleen's memory may be made to the Loomis Food Pantry, a non-profit/no-overhead charity operated by the First United Methodist Church of Loomis that feeds the poor.
