Lucille Katherine Hickok

Lucille was born August 6, 1932 in Hazen, ND to Arthur and Martha (Wiedrich) Isaak. She was raised in Center and graduated from Center High School in 1951. Lucille was born fourth of thirteen children and quickly developed her everlasting mission of caring for those around her. She taught school at McNulty school in 1951, a one room schoolhouse teaching all grades. In 1953 she moved to Sacramento, CA and worked at Capitol National bank where she met lifelong friend Delores. It was through Delores that Lucille met and eventually married Jimey Hickok on Dec 30, 1953. The young couple eventually settled in Penryn, CA established “The Ranch”, and began raising their three children.

Lucille loved shopping, playing bingo, and playing her favorite slot machines at the casino, but most of all she loved every minute she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Her last few years she enjoyed living at Auburn Ravine Terrace, and volunteered her time to welcome all the new-comers. She was witty, smart and kind, and everyone she met loved her. Lucille returned to the Lord peacefully on 17, March 2015 at her home in Auburn CA at the age of 82.

She is survived by her three children; Jeff & Joanna Hickok of Rocklin, CA, Jamie Hickok of Hopkins, MN, and Janice and Tim Pattenn of Germany. Her five grandchildren and spouses; Jordan and Loretta Hickok of Auburn, CA, Spencer Hickok of Sacramento, CA, Anna and Brandon Greene of Buford, GA, Audrie and Ibrahim Konfe of Hillsboro, OR, and Alexandra and Andrew Carrier of Black Hawk, SD. She had five great grandchildren, Elsie and Elliott Greene, Riley Hickok, Dominick Klink, and Maelys Konfe.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jimey C Hickok, her parents and several siblings.

Visitation will be at Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 3:00-5:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1279 High St., Auburn, CA on March 24, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Lynn Brewer presiding. Burial will follow at Newcastle Cemetery.
