Richard died unexpectedly on July 25, 2010. Born in Van Nuys, Ca, he then moved to the Bay area where he graduated from Amador Village High School. After high school, he moved to Arizona to attend Universal Technical Institute to become an auto technician. He worked as an auto technician in Dublin, CA. He was a sweet boy who could make anyone smile and laugh. He had big blue eyes and the cutest dimples. He was seldom seen without a smile. He loved fishing, camping and rafting down the American river or just hanging at the beach. He also enjoyed working on old cars. Richard will be missed by his family; Mother and Father Chuck and Sherrie Gilliam, and Rick and Debbie Chavez, sisters, Kelsey Gilliam, Kayla Gilliam, Tara Luge, and Presley Chavez, brothers, Luke Gilliam and Ryan Wagerie, along with many Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
