Roberta Westbrook

The funeral service will be held Friday, August 16, 2013 at 1:00pm at Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA. Rev. Ken Winter will be officiating. Refreshments will be offered after the service.

Roberta was born in Riceville, TN on May 19, 1923. She graduated from Middletown High School, and continued on to study at Middletown Business College.

Roberta was married to Robert William Westbrook on June 10, 1944; they were married 69 wonderful years.

Roberta was very active in the Presbyterian Church of Livermore, CA as well as taking leadership roles in scouts and parent-teacher organizations. She enjoyed camping, backpacking and skiing with her husband and children, as well as sailing, square dancing and traveling with Bob as the children grew up and left home. She liked nothing better than having friends and family to her home for food and fellowship.

Roberta is survived by her husband Bob; brother, John Lynn Scott; sisters, Dorothy Anne Pierce and Gertrude (Trudy) Sandman; son, Robert (Scott) Westbrook; daughters Claudia Jensen, Linda Westbrook and Edythe Westbrook; grandchildren Trevor and Beck Jensen, Tom Nagelvoort, Bryce and Faye Kleinhanz and many loving nieces and nephews.

Roberta is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Margaret Scott, and her sisters Frances Littleton and Ruth McCool.
