Timothy Edward Roumage

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Timothy Edward Roumage, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 in Roseville, Calif., surrounded by his family. He departed this world after a long battle with a rare autoimmune disease and pre-existing health complications.

Tim was born in Sacramento, Calif., on March 19th, 1962 to Victor and Cecil Roumage. He was a lifelong resident of Auburn, Calif. He was active in many sports growing up including: ski team, swim team and baseball. He graduated from Placer High School, and later from Sierra College.

Out of college, Tim partnered with his father and brother in their construction company, Vic Roumage & Sons, established 1866. When his father retired,Tim carried on the family legacy under the name, Roumage Construction.

Tim met the love of his life, Deirdre Anne (Sparling) Roumage in 1988. After a year of dating they married on May 20, 1989. Together they had 3 daughters: Kaela, Megan and Carly.

Tim was preceded in death by his wife, Deirdre Roumage; brother, Frederick Roumage (who also passed on March 5, 2002); paternal grandparents, Camille & Doris Roumage; maternal grandparents, Doug and Alyce Gayner; mother & father-in-law, David and Alice Sparling; brother-in- law, Kevin Sparling; and niece Kelley-anne King.

He is survived by his parents, Victor & Cecil Roumage; sister, Camille Roumage; daughters: Kaela Roumage, Megan (Matthew) Simpkins, and Carly Roumage; grandchildren, Dahlia and Ossie Simpkins;

sister-in-law, Thais (Daniel) King; nephews, Dashel Roumage & Kelsy (Ashlay) Sparling; neices, Kristina (Kolt) King & Jenae (Kyle) Letcher; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be announced in the near future. For those who would like to make a gift in Tim’s memory, donations may be made to Placer Community Foundation, The Hillmen Foundation or to The Auburn Ski Club.
