We mourn the passing of a truly great man, Chad Everette Wright (aka Eagle to his Clash of Clan members). He didn’t star in the movies nor was he a powerful business man. Instead, Chad was a man who lived his life for the love of his family and friends. He filled his family and friends with love, laughter and deep compassion. The world needs more men like Chad. The magnitude of our loss is immeasurable.
We the family have lost our shining star. We know that he touched many lives, not just our own. Anyone who lived in The Heights and went to Avondale High School, knows of the “Wright Boys”. This gentle giant was fiercely protective and loyal to his family and friends. Chad enjoyed his yearly vacation to the family “camp” in the mountains of PA. Every year he and his family would spend a glorious week at camp with his brothers, their families and his parents. We would spend hours sitting on the porch; drinking coffee and watching the river go by. It was there that he seemed most content and happy, surrounded by the most cherished people in his life.
Once the word spread of his passing we have heard from friends who are just as shocked and saddened as we are. Many friends have known him since they were in elementary school; others met him later in life. Chad was a steward for the CWA Union Local 4123. He was a fair and just man who believed in standing up for what was right.
Chad was pre-deceased by his beloved Mom-Sharon Wright, his Grandparents Talmadge & Mary Wright and Roy & Margy Thompson, Uncles Ernest Wright, Larry Thompson and Orville Brown and Aunt-Reba Brown.
Chad leaves so many behind to carry on without him. He is survived by his loving wife Deanne and their two boys Brett and Aaron, Dad-Jerry Wright, Brothers-Jay & Kerri Wright and Dale Wright, Nephews-Trevor & Tristan Wright, Niece-Ellen Wright, Aunts-Phyllis Wright and Donna Thompson, Life Long Friend-Rob “Opie” Long and many cousins and friends. We will hold him in our hearts forever.
Memorial contibutions may be made to Chad's family for his children.
