Dennis Sanders

Dennis Vernon Sanders, age 80, of Auburn Hills Michigan passed away Friday July 17, 2020. Dennis was born the son of Lyle and Dorothy (Edward) Sanders on May 28, 1940 in Bemidji Minnesota. He graduated from Bemidji High School and moved to Michigan for work on the pipeline. Dennis married Dorothy Cook on November 3, 1974 at the Auburn Heights Baptist Church. He and Dorothy raised their family in Auburn Hills. Dennis had his business as a carpenter for many years. He loved hunting in Oxford and Harrison, fishing on Lake St. Clair, and taking care of his home. Dennis is survived by his loving wife Dorothy; children Sandra Sanders, Daniel (Michelle) Sanders, Sherry (Tim) Rydalch, Debra Williford, Carl Posey, Kenneth Posey, Gary (Nicole) Posey, and Tammy (Sean) Keane; grandchildren Nicholas, Chancy, Drew, Keith, Stephen, Brendan, Brian, and Tyler; five great grand-children; sister Jeanette Sanders; many nieces and nephews; as well as special neighbors the Banjeblab and Raes families. Dennis was predeceased by his parents Lyle and Dorothy (Edward) Sanders; brother Lyle; and sister Olive. The family will welcome all to a memorial gathering to be held on Tuesday July 21st from 11am until the time of memorial service at noon at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 3530 Auburn Road in Auburn Hills.
