Donald F. Ward

Don was born December 24, 1927 in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. Don was married to his late wife Marilyn for 74 1/2 years before she went home to be with the Lord this past March. Don's biggest passion was decorating his home and yard with Christmas decorations; he really enjoyed the holidays. Don had a passion in his younger years working with the Dads of the "Foreign Wars", working Bingos, and Fish Frys at VFW Post 155 in Union Lake, Michigan. Don and Marilyn also enjoyed camping in their younger years, especially with their camping club, The Roadrunners. Don also enjoyed doing woodworking projects. Over the past few years, Don enjoyed sitting out on his backyard deck, binocular in hand, watching the wild life..

Don is survived by his children Donald (Cathy) Ward, Richard (Pat) Ward, Donna (Bill) Mayne, Robert (deceased) (Elaine) Ward, Betty Ward, Paul Ward, Lori Conley (Lloyd Gabbard); grandchildren Donald Ward (deceased), Joe (Michelle) Ward, Christina (Bob) Miller, Scott (Carrie) Ward, Kimburly (Jason) Workman, Hannah Ward, Erik Conley, Bill (Esther) Mayne, Serjio Martinez, Justin (Nichole) Ward, Brandon Martinez, and Vanna (James) Barclay; great grandchildren Haven, Alina, Evan, Ryan, Ella, Sara, Kira, Owen, Adam, Alyssa, Ashley, Nicholas, Connor, Zoe, Taylor, Addison, Tori, Hallie, Elli, Padme, Ray, Dwight , and Jaida; great-great grandchildren Kayden, Aiden, and Mason.
