Since her birth on March 7, 1928, Helen’s life was a testament to the power of faith and the bonds of family. She leaves a world made more beautiful by her presence and her deep appreciation for life’s many blessings.
Helen was a longtime resident of Rochester Hills, where she created a warm and welcoming home for her family. She had a special love for Planet Earth and found great joy in planting flowers, tending her garden, and nurturing all things that grew. Her yard was a reflection of her spirit—colorful, vibrant, and lovingly cared for.
One of Helen’s greatest joys was spending time at the family cottage in Holly, Michigan. She always looked forward to her time there, cherishing the peaceful surroundings and the precious moments shared with family. The cottage was a place of laughter, stories, and lasting memories that will continue to be treasured by all who gathered there.
A woman of strong and steadfast faith, Helen was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Her faith guided her throughout her life and was a source of strength, comfort, and grace.
A devoted wife to the late Francis Staszak, Helen spent her life nurturing the family they built together. She was the proud mother of Paul (Lynn) Staszak, Bruce (Laura) Staszak, and Lora Burgess. She was reunited in peace with her beloved sons, Mark Staszak and Ron Staszak, as well as her daughter-in-law, Pam. She is lovingly remembered by Ron’s wife, Diane.
Helen’s greatest treasures were her twelve grandchildren—Bonnie, Amanda, Darren, Robert, Ronald, Erick, Chelsea, Adam, Autumn, Drew, Elyse, and Ashley—and her 18 great-grandchildren. To each of them, she was a constant source of love, pride, and joy.
A Memorial Service for Helen will take place on March 7, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., at Pixley Funeral Home, 3530 Auburn Rd., Auburn Hills, MI 48326. The service will be officiated by a deacon from Sacred Heart Catholic Church
