Hugh "Butch" MacMillan

Butch was was born in Lonaconing, Maryland on December 21st, 1941. He attended school in Pontiac, Michigan prior to enlisting in the U.S. Army. In October of 1980, he married Darlene Systermann. After a 43 year career at General Motors, he retired in 2006 from skilled trades as a proud UAW member. Known for his love of family, he also enjoyed dining, playing euchre and traveling around the world with Darlene.

Hugh was the loving husband of Darlene MacMillan for 40 years; adored father to Hugh (Garnet) MacMillan, Tonya MacMillan, Shelley Houser, Cherise Daniel, and Deborah (Scott) Guernsey. Loving PopPop to 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Dear brother to Robert (Donna) MacMillan, Shirley Collins, Gary (Joanna) MacMillan, and the late Floyd MacMillan,.

A private funeral service will be held at Christian Memorial Gardens on Friday October 8th, 2021.
