A light has gone out

Jennie Elizabeth Juricic, age 44, of Auburn Hills, Michigan, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, at St. Joseph Mercy Trinity Health Hospital in Pontiac.

She is survived by her loving mother, Loretta, her sisters Marilyn, Rose (Dee) and brothers, Joe (Julie), Lon (Kattie), Louis (Eva) and her cherished nieces, Clara, Azelie, and Lily, and nephews, Luke, Jack, Leo, Ian, William, and Dominic, several Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends. Jennie was preceded in death by her beloved father, James F Juricic. Grandparents, Frank (Jennie) Juricic and Louis (Mary) DeMatteo.

Jennie was loved by everyone who met her. She had a big heart, a joyful spirit, and a gift for making others feel special. Her favorite color was green and pink. Jennie loved listening to music, watching TV and movies, especially Harry Potter, and all Marvel movies. She loved celebrating the holidays especially Halloween, dressing up every year, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. She loved to play piano, to ballroom dance, to draw, to paint, to garden, to sing, to laugh, to give hugs, and to fill any room with warmth and light.

Throughout her life, Jennie faced challenges with remarkable courage and grace. She showed everyone around her how to love deeply, live fully, and find laughter even in difficult times. Her light, love, and laughter will be forever missed by all who knew her.

Public visitation will be held from 4:00pm-8:00pm on November 17, 2025, at Pixley Funeral Home Auburn Hills, Michigan.

The Catholic Mass funeral service will be held on November 18, 2025, at St Damien of Molokai Parish- St. Vincent de Paul Church with guest arriving at 9:30am and the mass being held at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to FAR Therapeutic Arts and Recreation, Birmingham Michigan, or The Down Syndrome Guild of Southeast Michigan.
