Marilyn F. Ward, age 92, of Rochester Hills, Michigan passed away Monday, March 28, 2022. Marilyn was born December 31, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. She is survived by her beloved husband Donald F. Ward of 74 wonderful years together. Marilyn and Don met in June of 1947 while she and her family were vacationing in Canada. She devoted her life to being a loving wife, and mother. Her passions were all about family, spending as much time as she could with her children, and grandchildren. The holidays were her favorite time of the year, she loved decorating and celebrating with her family. She gave back to the community by being a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She also loved watching hummingbirds outside her window, and enjoyed her rose gardens.
In her younger years she loved playing Bingo, going camping, and she enjoyed spending time with friends.
She is survived by her children Donald (Cathy) Ward, Richard (Pat) Ward, Donna (Bill) Mayne, Robert (deceased) (Elaine) Ward, Betty Ward, Paul Ward, Lori Conley (Lloyd Gabbard); grandchildren Donald Ward (deceased), Joe (Michelle) Ward, Christina (Bob) Miller, Scott (Carrie) Ward, Kimburly (Jason) Workman, Hannah Ward, Erik Conley, Bill (Esther) Mayne, Serjio Martinez, Justin (Nichole) Ward, Brandon Martinez, and Vanna (James) Barclay; great grandchildren Haven, Alina, Evan, Ryan, Ella, Sara, Kira, Owen, Adam, Alyssa, Ashley, Nicholas, Connor, Zoe, Taylor, Addison, Tori, Hallie, Elli, Padme, Ray, Dwight , and Jaida; great great grandchildren Kayden and Aiden.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 9, 2022
