Mary P. Alfonso (NEE Sevakis) age 56, of Auburn Hills, passed away on May 31, 2015. She was born in Detroit Michigan on December 3, 1958. Mary graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor’s degree. She married Manuel Alfonso on September 14, 2011. Mary worked in public affairs for over 25 years for Detroit Edison and for Detroit Department of Water and Sewer. She was a member of the Board of Directors of Community Network Services Inc. and she had a passion for travel. Mary is survived by her loving husband Manuel, siblings Julie Sevakis, Jimmy (Nancy) Sevakis, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will take place on Thursday June 4, 2015 from 10am until the time of service at 11am at Pixley Funeral Home, 3530 Auburn Rd. Auburn Hills, MI 48326. Memorial donations suggested to the American Cancer Society.
