Norma Evelyn Klisz, born on January 25, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 84. A resident of East Tawas, Michigan, Norma lived a life full of adventure and joy.
Norma's career was marked by her dedication and hard work as a secretary for McPhail Corporation, which later became known as Lectron Products Incorporated and then Eaton. Her professional journey was complemented by her leadership role in the International Association of Administrative Professionals, formerly known as Professional Secretaries International.
An avid traveler, Norma explored many states and countries across North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia. She especially cherished traveling with her son, Richard Klisz, and her granddaughters, Tori Ranusch and Jessie Klisz, as well as with her close friends. When not working or traveling, Norma enjoyed golfing, skiing, and spending time at her cottage on Lake Huron, where she found peace and relaxation "up north." She also had a passion for crossword puzzles, reading, and had a great fondness for dogs.
Norma is survived by her son, Richard Klisz; her granddaughters, Tori Ranusch and Jessie Klisz; and her brother, Gary Cook. She was predeceased by her first husband, Richard Klisz and her second husband Richard Price.
Norma's life was a testament to her adventurous spirit and her love for those around her. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Norma's life will be held at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI 48307, on January 24, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, followed by a memorial service starting at 11:00 am.
