Sondra Jean Castello

Sondra Jean Castello, age 78, of Auburn Hills, Michigan, passed away at home with her family all around her on December 20, 2021. She was born in Rural Kennett, Missouri on January 16, 1943. Sondra was married and divorced from Larry Earl Fisher and Albert Ben Castello. She worked in the service industry for many years while single handedly raising her four daughters. Sondra then became a caregiver for many family members and friends who needed special care with her loving touch. She had a passion for reading, interior decorating, her children, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren. Sondra is survived by her children, Tammie Marie (David) Verville, Cynthia Lynn (Philip) Colvin, Andrea Kay Gubariu, and Raquel Susan (Glenn) Anderson; her grandchildren, Adam James (Kathryn) Verville, Ashley Marie (Frank) Andrews, Alexander David (Jasmine) Verville, Austin Michael (Casey) Vervile, Samantha Lynn (Nick) Smith, Rachel Ann (Kenneth) Keller, Sophia Clare Colvin, Avery Grace Colvin, Conner Michael Gubariu, and Shane Christopher Gubariu; her great grandchildren Maxine Josetta Verville, David Outlaw Andrews, Otto Francis Verville, Elisha Rain Verville, Augustus James Andrews, Selah Peace Verville; and her sister, Barbara Ann Penberthy. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Jerris J. Sherrill, Wanna H. Townsend, and Kimberly Forbush. A private celebration of life is planned for January 16, 2022.
