

Born on January 11, 1941, Stanley grew up in Auburn Hills helping his parents with the family greenhouse business. He was a proud graduate of Avondale High School and retiree from General Motors. He enjoyed visiting Sweden and the relatives he cherished . He was a man of faith and was happiest when he was working hard on his farm, planting flowers, milking his cows, or riding his horse across Michigan.
He is survived by his children, Stanley (Rhonda) Blomberg, Kim (Carl) Wainwright, and Scott (Kim) Blomberg; his beloved grandchildren, Lauren, Zachary (Kirsten), Nolan (Ellie), Mitchell, Brooke, Jack, Elly, and Maggie; and his great-grandchildren, Christopher, Axel, Sophia, and Logan. He is also survived by his siblings, Sam, Sid, Sandy, Steve, and Sherm, along with many nieces and nephews who adored him.
Stanley was preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Charlotte, and his siblings Shirley, Signe, and Sven.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon, at Pixley Funeral Home John Desmond Chapel, 3530 Auburn Rd., Auburn Hills, MI, 48326.
Burial will follow at White Chapel Cemetery.
