Theresa Marie Hamilton, a woman of sharp wit and kind heart, passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on January 14, 1953, in Pontiac, Michigan, Theresa moved to Auburn Hills, Michigan, at the age of 17, residing in Rochester Hills, Michigan for the remainder of her life.
Theresa married her beloved husband, Roger Hamilton, on October 17, 1970, at the tender age of 17. Together, they built a life filled with love and devotion, raising their children, and creating a nurturing home. Theresa was a devoted mother to her children: Roger Hamilton Jr. (Everilee), Todd Hamilton (Brandy), Kristi Cox (Scott), and Kevin Hamilton (Lindsay). Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Mollie, Caleb, Carson, Cooper, Lillian, Leah, Leighton, Hudson, Harlan, and Hasil.
Her career was marked by dedication and service, having worked as a secretary at Avondale Schools and later dedicating 12 years to St. Joe's Hospital in Pontiac. Theresa’s professional life was a testament to her commitment to helping others and her community.
Theresa’s personal life was rich with creativity and compassion. She was extremely crafty, finding joy in making crafts and writing poems. Her love for walking with friends and caring for those around her was a reflection of her generous spirit. Both she and her husband were beloved by their community, leaving an indelible mark on those who knew them.
Theresa is survived by her stepmother, Deborah Bradford, and her siblings: Steven, Randy, David, Pam, Jan, and Greg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Hamilton, her father, Glenn Bradford, her mother, Dorothy Woigdka, and her stepfather, Paul Woigdka.
A memorial visitation will be held in her honor at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 3530 Auburn Road, Auburn Hills, MI, on December 17, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Theresa will be fondly remembered by many special friends and her family, who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts.
